Good news for Roma owners Dan and Ryan Friedkin who have been officially acquitted of any involvement in the recent investigation into Roma’s false accounting.

The American club owners were notified by the investigating bodies that they are in the clear, reports Leggo, as former Roma president James Pallotta is set to face charges.

In an official note, in fact, it is indicated that “the request for dismissal was requested against the current executives of the club” from the moment “that in the period following 2021, the year of acquisition of the club by the current owners, they are no longer carried out operations of the type of those being contested, while the repercussions of the previous operations on the subsequent financial statements did not determine significant consequences on the reliability of the financial statement results and the financial situation of the company.”

In short, the current Roma management are in the clear and will not risk anything.

Meanwhile, James Pallotta and other executives from his reign in the Italian capital including Mauro Baldissoni, Umberto Gandini and Guido Fienga, may still be charged for the sales of Marchizza, Frattesi, Tumminello and Luca Pellegrini as well as the deal for Gregoire Defrel, Leonardo Spinazzola and Bryan Cristante.
