PSG couldn't find a way breach Dortmund's yellow wall, as the German side stunned the Parc des Princes (1-0) to reach the UCL final in Wembley

The task facing Luis Enrique's side was clear before kick-off at the Parc des Princes: Les Parisiens had to come away with a win or a draw to keep their dreams of a UEFA Champions League final at Wembley alive. A rambunctious home crowd awaited the players, but it was a first half which saw the home side see large amounts of the ball, but PSG couldn't test a resolute German defence. Donnarumma was needed to make an outstanding (and vital) save from Adeyemi's low strike after a surging run into the PSG box. As the whistle blew for the end of the first period, the Ligue 1 Uber Eats champions had much work to do to get back into the semi-final clash.

Warren Zaïre-Emery thought he scored the opener for the hosts, but his close range volley hit the post. The hopes for the Parc des Princes faithful would then be dampened… The away side took the lead via a corner whipped in by Julian Brandt; and Mats Hummels connected emphatically with a downwards header which flew past a scrambling Gianluigi Donnarumma (49'). A nightmare start to the second half for Luis Enrique's side, who now had to reverse a two-goal lead to get anything out of the game.

PSG hit the bar... SIX times over two legs

Gonçalo Ramos would connect with the ball in the box only several minutes later, but his volley was frustratingly blasted over the bar. Nuno Mendes followed up with a stinging strike on the edge of the box which struck Kobel's left post, as Les Parisiens looked to get back into the game. Enrique would roll the dice for the first time, as he replaced Ramos with Bradley Barcola and Marco Asensio with Fabian Ruiz. Meanwhile, Marco Reus entered the field of play for the German side.

Ousmane Dembélé was then brought down by the goalscorer Hummels right on the edge of the box, as the referee blew for a freekick - yet the strike couldn't get over the yellow wall of Dortmund defenders. Mats Hummels thought he grabbed his second goal of the game after he flicked past Donnarumma, but it was flagged for offside. Les Parisiens hit the frame of the goal yet again, this time via Mbappé from close range. Incredibly, Vitinhina took his turn to strike the bar. Yet, the Parc would be stunned by the final whistle, as Les Parisiens ran out of time to create history.
