The Onefootball apps use social plug-ins (hereafter “plug-ins”) from various social networks. With the help of these plug-ins, you can, for example, recommend content to a friend or use the sharing functions. In our app, we use the following plug-ins (not operated by Onefootball): Facebook, Twitter, and your email program on the operating system iOS.
On the operating systems Android and Windows Phone, additional plug-ins may be used and include all installed apps with a sharing function (e.g. LinkedIn, Google+, Pinterest, Youtube, Instagram, etc.).
If you want to use one or more of these services, you must register there. Please check the privacy policies of these third-party plug-in services such as Facebook, Google+, Twitter, etc. for information on the purpose and scope of data collection, further processing and use of your data, as well as your rights in this respect and changing settings options in order to protect your privacy.
8. Counting method
Statistical data is collected when users access the Onefootball app; however, this data is not associated with your person. This data collection serves to improve Onefootball and to provide you as the user with the most extensive functionality possible.
We use web beacons in this app, which can be explained as a simple programming code that lets us know when the app has been displayed or clicked on. To this end, Onefootball uses certified products, some of which comply with the U.S. - EU Safe Harbor Principles.
Onefootball also uses INFOnline’s “Scalable Central Measuring Method” (SZM) to determine the statistical parameters surrounding the use of our products. These readings are collected anonymously. The SZM method alternately uses either a cookie with the ID “ivwbox.de” or a signature that is automatically created from various pieces of information transmitted from your computer. IP addresses are not stored in the process; the information is processed anonymously. You can find further information on INFOnline Ltd.’s website (https://www.infonline.de), which operates the SZM method, as well as on the data protection website AGOF (http://www.agof.de/datenschutz) and the data protection website IVW (http://www.ivw.eu).
Furthermore, Onefootball uses the technology “adjust.io” from adjust GmbH, which uses users’ IP and Mac addresses, also only collected anonymously. It is not possible to draw a connection between your data and your person through these systems.
By using the Onefootball apps, you agree to the third-party processing of data for the purpose outlined above.
You can disable these services in the app using a browser add-on if you do not want Onefootball to analyze your data:
9. Deletion, access to and correction of data
We delete your data insofar as it is no longer required for the aforementioned purposes. If you delete your account, we also delete all data from your account. Data that you have shared publicly with others remains available, since it belongs to the account of a third party or is on a public platform. If data must be retained for legal reasons, it will be locked. The data is then no longer available for further use.
You can receive information at any time about the personal data we have stored about you. You can check, correct or delete it, or withdraw your consent to its use, at any time. To do so, send us an e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
