Thierry Henry has been sacked after just four wins in 20 games as AS Monaco boss.

In a statement on Friday, the club confirmed former manager Leonardo Jardim, who left the club earlier this season, has returned to take his place.

Henry started his playing career at Monaco and was put in charge of the team back in October.

However, he couldn’t improve Monaco’s fortunes after a slow start to the season. The team managed to win just one point in their Champions League group and are currently 19th in Ligue 1.

The job was Henry’s first as a manager and the pressure has seemed to affect him in recent weeks.
