Unai Emery’s style seems to be suiting Arsenal just fine.
While the Spaniard attempts to win his fourth Europa League title with the Gunners on 29 May, he will have plenty of positives to look back on in his first season in the Premier League.
According to Orbinho, a reliable Arsenal-specific Opta-based Twitter account, Arsenal converted a higher percentage of their shots than any other team in Premier League history (since Opta started keeping track in 1996).
It’s worth noting that Arsenal finished 11th in the Premier League in shots, behind clubs like Crystal Palace and Southampton, so it’s clear there is a ton of room for improvement.
But this is a very good sign indeed.
