Leeds United have turned down two bids of over €20m from Premier League sides for midfielder Kalvin Phillips.
The 23-year-old academy graduate was a key figure for Marcelo Bielsa’s men last season, understandably garnering great interest in his signature.
Leeds have rejected offers north of €20m from both Aston Villa and Sheffield United for the midfielder, according to sources close to Leeds.
The newly-promoted sides both got a good look at Phillips, who can also play at the back, during their Championship campaigns last year.
However, their bids have been turned down by the Yorkshire club, who value the local lad even higher.
Phillips has two years remaining on his current contract at Elland Road, reportedly turning down an extension this summer, claim the Yorkshire Evening Post.
Last season, Phillips made an incredible 46 appearances in all competitions, cementing himself as an important part of Bielsa’s plans.
