Talk in the Dutch press suggests Arne Slot is to take two names with him to Liverpool this summer. The Feyenoord boss is strongly linked with the manager’s job.

Arne Slot will almost certainly be the next manager of Liverpool. That's reported just about everywhere at this stage, with the Reds having supposedly put forward a €9m offer on Wednesday that Feyenoord rejected.

Though, they're tipped to bump that offer closer to the €15m the Dutch champions are after very soon.

It's also suggested that Slot is very keen on the move. All that really stands in the way is an agreement with Feyenoord, to the point where it's largely known who the manager wants to bring with him.

Dutch outlet De Telegraaf names two of them.

The first is Sipke Hulshoff, currently an assistant at Feyenoord. Hulshoff has had an interest career in coaching - he worked in both Ghana and Qatar, as well as the Netherlands, before joined SC Cambuur as an assistant in 2015.

Importantly, he joined alongside another assistant - Arne Slot. They eventually became interim managers there on two occasions before Hulshoff left to be an assistant at Volendam, while Slot took the same role at AZ Alkmaar.

By 2021, both were at Feyenoord: Slot as manager and Hulshoff as Under 21 boss. He's now an assistant to Slot and Netherlands boss Ronald Koeman.

The other name linked is Ruben Peeters. The 31-year-old worked his way up as a fitness coach at KRC Genk in Belgium before joining Feyenoord as Head of Performance the same summer Slot arrived.

He'll now likely take a similar role at Liverpool.

Liverpool set for overhaul

It's unclear how many more will jump ship with Slot. De Telegraaf suggest Feyenoord won't allow others to go so smoothly - they don't want to lose everyone, after all.

Liverpool, though, may be in the mood for more. Jurgen Klopp isn't the only one leaving, with many first-team coaching staff members departing, too. They will need replacing and hiring those who know Slot makes the most sense.

So while Hulshoff and Peeters are the first two linked, they are unlikely to be the last.
