The Fenerbahce defender, who can also play in midfield or on either wing, has impressed in Turkey and in the Europa Conference League this season, and bids are likely to come in for the 24-year-old this summer.

Liverpool could be one of those set to pursue the exciting talent, but they will have to fend off significant interest from Premier League title rivals.

ARSENAL TO BID FOR LIVERPOOL-LINKED FERDI KADIOGLU

According to a report from Aksam, Arsenal are preparing to submit a formal offer to Fenerbahce for Kadioglu this summer as they look to strengthen their defence.

Left-back has been a problem position for Arsenal this season, with Oleksandr Zinchenko coming under fire for his performances levels and centre-back Jakub Kiwior having to fill in.

Therefore, they have identified Kadioglu as a transfer target and are willing to negotiate with the Turkish giants, although the likes of Aston Villa and Newcastle United are among other interested parties.

If Liverpool are genuinely interested in the 15-cap Turkey international, who was born in the Netherlands, then they may have to act fast come the end of the season.

The Reds have had to cope without first-choice left-back Andy Robertson for much of the season due to various injuries, while Kostas Tsimikas has largely underwhelmed when called upon as a rotation option.

The Greek defender also spent a long spell on the sidelines earlier this term, with Joe Gomez then forced to cover on the left flank.

With Robertson now 30 and Tsimikas' development having stagnated, the Reds may be interested in signing a new left-back this summer - although that is likely to depend on who replaces Jurgen Klopp at Anfield.
