Dusan Vlahovic appears committed to staying at Juventus, with both the player and the club keen to continue their partnership.

With recent reports of renewed interest from Arsenal, there’s growing speculation that Vlahovic’s camp could be using Arsenal’s interest to gain leverage in ongoing contract negotiations with Juventus.

Juventus have no intention of selling Vlahovic, and the Serbian striker has reportedly expressed his desire to stay in Turin. This fuels the belief that any ‘Arsenal interest’ is likely nonsense being used in ongoing contract discussions.

It’s important to remember that Vlahovic rejected Arsenal in 2022 when choosing Juventus. This casts doubt on the sincerity of any current claims that he is interested in joining the Gunners. While Arsenal are reportedly in the market for a new striker, Vlahovic’s decision makes him an unlikely target.

Vlahovic’s current contract with Juventus extends for two more years. With reports of ongoing negotiations for an extension underway, Arsenal’s rumoured interest presents Vlahovic’s camp with a strong bargaining chip.

The potential of a Premier League is likely being used to secure more favourable terms from Juventus and all of this has nothing to do with Arsenal.
