Chelsea goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic ascends the rankings with a maximum six fixtures in the remaining four gameweeks, despite keeping just two clean sheets this calendar year. The fixtures couldn’t be tougher, but he does have the potential to rack up save points, having made 17 in five appearances since the international break.

Ben Davies vs Chelsea (A), Arsenal (H) – 6.1 Predicted Points

An injury doubt for Pedro Porro sees him out of the best wildcard team ahead of two doubles, and with Destiny Udogie out for the rest of the season there’s a potential run of starts for under-the-radar pick Ben Davies. Tottenham have kept six clean sheets this season, while Davies has two attacking returns in 11 starts for the campaign.

Trent Alexander-Arnold vs West Ham (A) – 4.4 Predicted Points

Liverpool have been relieved to welcome full-back Trent Alexander-Arnold from injury and he’s started three games in quick succession in all competitions. While Liverpool’s form has been a concern, Alexander-Arnold scored a brilliant free-kick in the win against Fulham last weekend, though it was Andrew Robertson taking the lion’s share of corners in Gameweek 34.

Gabriel vs Tottenham (H) – 4.0 Predicted Points

Arsenal’s defensive superiority continues to shine, with the side now up to 16 clean sheets for the campaign. They’ve conceded in just one game in six since the international break and so, despite having just four fixtures remaining, Gabriel remains a must-have on wildcard. His goal threat must also be considered, with a leading seven big chances on goal among defenders

Son Heung-min vs Arsenal (H), Chelsea (A) – 11.5 Predicted Points

A fully fit Son Heung-min, classified as a midfielder but leading the line, tops the predictions from the double gameweek picks and will be a popular transfer in and captain for this one. He has one goal and one assist since the international break and scored a brace in the North London Derby earlier this season, plus he’s on penalties.

Brennan Johnson vs Arsenal (H), Chelsea (A) – 9.3 Predicted Points

Tottenham winger Brennan Johnson is a worthy second attacker heading into their double, given that he’s outscored Son since the international break, with one goal and two assists. He has made the right hand side of Tottenham’s attack his own, with plenty of routes to points – four big chances on goal in his last four games ranks him third among midfielders in this spell.

Cole Palmer vs Aston Villa (A), Tottenham (H) – 9.2 Predicted Points

Chelsea star-man Cole Palmer showed that he was human after all, missing the midweek defeat to Arsenal with illness, which sees his prediction fall below that of fellow captain contender Son given an unpredictability of minutes. However, he poses a formidable force with five double digit hauls in his last eight appearances – there’s no ceiling on his output.

Mohamed Salah vs West Ham (A) – 7.1 Predicted Points

Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah holds firm in the AI predictions despite a difficult period for him and Liverpool since the international break. He has just two goals in six appearances in this time, but remains top for shots with 30 and second for big chances with seven. Given his pedigree, it’s unlikely that this underperformance will last for long.

Bruno Fernandes vs Burnley (H) – 5.8 Predicted Points

Bruno Fernandes has been a surprise package in recent weeks as he regains his form from three seasons ago, with six goals and one assist in the last four gameweeks. The fixture couldn’t be better, as Burnley are his next opponents at Old Trafford, where he hasn’t blanked in his last five. Note he also has a pair of home games in Double Gameweek 37.

Nicolas Jackson vs Aston Villa (A), Tottenham (H) – 10.6 Predicted Points

Chelsea’s Nicolas Jackson avoided a suspension against Arsenal in midweek and is now among the most transferred in forwards ahead of two fixtures. His standout performance in recent weeks came in the 6-0 win to Everton, where he produced one goal and two assists, plus he scored a hat-trick in the reverse fixture against Tottenham back in Gameweek 11.

Alexander Isak vs Sheffield United (H) – 6.4 Predicted Points

Newcastle United’s Alexander Isak is the most-bought player at the time of writing, with the Magpies having five fixtures in the last four, including bottom of the table Sheffield United and Burnley next. He has five goals and one assist in five since the international break, but be aware that Callum Wilson is fit too, making the bench against Crystal Palace in midweek.
