Everton boss Sean Dyche has picked his team to play host to champions Manchester City in the Premier League this evening.
The Toffees’ good run of form in the Premier League was ended by Tottenham Hotspur just before Christmas, but the performance will still have given Dyche a boost given Spurs were pushed hard.
They start as the underdogs this evening, but Manchester City have been abroad on Club World Cup duty and Dyche will hope the travelling can take a toll on the visitors.
Everton have lost their last seven meetings against Manchester City at Goodison Park.
Jordan Pickford slots into goal for Everton tonight, while at the back Dyche goes with Nathan Patterson, James Tarkowski, Jarrad Branthwaite and Vitaliy Mykolenko to form a four.
In the engine room, Everton field Amadou Onana, Andre Gomes and James Garner, while Jack Harrison and Dwight McNeil support target man Beto.
If Dyche needs to make changes from the bench then he has a host of options to choose from, including Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Arnaut Danjuna.
