PSG continue their bid to lift the Champions League trophy for the first time when they travel to take on Borussia Dortmund in the semi-finals.

The French side will be eyeing a positive result in the first leg to take back to Paris, as these two sides meet yet again. They were in the same group earlier this season, when PSG won at home and earned a 1-1 draw in Dortmund.

A repeat of that will see them through to the final at Wembley, and raise the prospect of Kylian Mbappe winning the Champions League in his final match for the club.

Dortmund battled past Atletico Madrid to reach this stage, for what is their first semi-final appearance since 2013.

Dortmund hope to have Mats Hummels fit for the first leg, after the centre-back was forced off against RB Leipzig over the weekend, but Donyell Malen and Ian Maatsen are doubts.

Sebastien Haller has been out with an ankle injury for the last couple of weeks and he is expected to be ruled out again.

As for PSG, Kylian Mbappe was a substitute over the weekend against Le Havre, but the Frenchman will come back into the starting lineup in Germany.

Presnel Kimpembe recently returned to individual training after a lengthy period on the sidelines, though this match will come too soon for the defender.

PSG did not win any of their matches away from home in the group stage, but have responded by beating Real Sociedad and then Barcelona in Spain on their way to reaching the semi-finals.

Dortmund surely need to take a lead to France, but it is PSG who have the star quality in forward areas to make the difference. They can take control of this tie.
