If the wheels came off Liverpool’s title charge in midweek, the whole car is threatening to fall apart this lunchtime.

After a drab start to their clash with West Ham at the London Stadium, they fell behind late on in the first half courtesy of a header from in-form Hammer Jarrod Bowen.

It means that, as it stands, they sit three points behind Arsenal having played a game more, and potentially five behind Manchester City should they win their own games in hand on the Reds.

The goal bought up a personal milestone for Bowen too, with the winger now having scored the most goals in a Premier League season for the Hammers since Paulo Di Canio, with games still to play in a bid to overtake the Italian icon.

Now, Liverpool have 45 minutes to try and keep their quickly evaporating title hopes alive in east London.
