Callum O'Hare has more than likely played his final game for Coventry City, and this is all the news around his expected departure.

Unfortunately for the former Aston Villa academy graduate, one of his final main memories in a Sky Blues shirt will be his penalty miss against Manchester United in the FA Cup semi-final, but that shouldn't be the lasting memory of him.

His comeback, after a brutal knee injury that he suffered in December 2022, to help the team start its league comeback and fight its way up the table, en route to their trip to Wembley, was a joyous thing to watch.

It appears everyone in and around the club acknowledges that his time in Coventry is done, but there has been no malice or bitterness, and that represents the appreciation that the club, and the fans, have for O'Hare, and, you'd imagine, vice versa.

Without City, the 26-year-old wouldn't have received all of this interest from the top flight.

Speaking of that, as O'Hare's official departure nears, Football League World has rounded up the latest news on the Coventry player and his next moves.

West Ham are interested in Callum O'Hare

West Ham have been linked with a myriad of top Championship players over the course of the season, with O'Hare being one of them.

They are said to hold an interest in him and Hull City defender Jacob Greaves, according to Football Insider, and that they want to get their business done early in the summer window.

The Guardian reported in April that the East London-based outfit wanted the Championship pair, and that looks to have been accelerated as the Hammers close in on the end of the Premier League season.

West Ham are preparing for life without David Moyes, after it was confirmed that he will leave the club at the end of the season when his contract expires - much like O'Hare at Coventry.

Other outfits that have reportedly taken a liking to him include his former club Aston Villa, Fulham, Leicester City, Celtic, Rangers and unnamed Spanish sides.

Mark Robins gives Callum O'Hare contract update

The Sky Blues were reported to have offered the attacking midfielder a new deal, which he is said to have rejected.

Coventry's boss has admitted that the chances of O'Hare staying aren't likely, but that he will keep pursuing it until it is confirmed that he is off.

After the side's final day defeat to Queens Park Rangers, Robins told Coventry Live: "I have just said in the dressing room, I’m not going to give up on you.

But we started laughing and I know that he’s probably going to choose somewhere else to go. But he’s been incredible as well and I thought the supporters were outstanding with him, as they were all the players."

The manager also admitted that they have been planning for life without the 26-year-old. O'Hare was one of the club's best players this season, but fell out of favour a bit towards the end of the season.
