According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Denzel Dumfries wants to join Man United and won’t listen to offers from mid-table Premier League clubs, while the Nerazzurri are ready to sell Valentin Carboni for €30m and Marko Arnautovic for just €5m.

Inter have already reinforced the team with the signings of Mehdi Taremi and Piotr Zielinski, but Beppe Marotta is also working on sales and the Serie A champions are ready to part company with five players already. Monday’s printed edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport on page 30 provided the latest updates on other players who may leave the Stadio Meazza.

Arnautovic has failed to impress this season and according to Gazzetta, a €5m offer would be enough to sign the Austria international in the summer. At the same time, the price tag for Dumfries would be €25m-€30m. The Dutch defender’s contract runs out in June 2025 and he hasn’t yet reached an agreement to extend his stay at the club.

Dumfries wants Man Utd transfer

According to the report, several Premier League clubs are interested in the 28-year-old, but Dumfries doesn’t want to join a mid-table team and hopes to sign for Manchester United, should he ultimately leave Inter in the summer. Gazzetta claims that the Netherlands international will have more chances to move to Old Trafford if his compatriot Erik ten Hag remains in charge.

The Dutch full back is not pushing to leave the Nerazzurri and talks are ongoing regarding a new deal.

Lastly, Inter have reportedly decided to sell Carboni in the summer to boost their transfer budget. The Nerazzurri will have to balance income and expenditures budget, so the promising striker can leave for €30m after a one-season loan at Monza and his recent senior debut with Argentina.

Fiorentina had offered €20m for Carboni in the January transfer window but West Ham were also linked with the 22-year-old.
