Newcastle United fans will have the chance to secure matchday travel to home fixtures during the 2024/25 season for as little as £1.30 per game, through the annual Magpie Mover ticket.

With pricing for next season frozen at just £25, the Magpie Mover offers season ticket holders fantastic value for money and significant savings in comparison to single/return fares, as well as delivering a sustainable and time effective method of travel to St. James' Park on matchdays.

When and where can the Magpie Mover be used?

Magpie Mover tickets provide fans with matchday travel throughout the Tyne and Wear region on the following services:

* Bus: Arriva, Stagecoach and Go North East* Metro: Nexus* Ferry: Shields Ferry* Train: Sunderland to Blaydon rail line

Covering both league and cup matches, the ticket is valid three hours prior to kick-off and can be used right up until the end of service from any departure point within Newcastle city centre.

Why make the switch to public transport?

Alongside providing cost-effective travel for fans, the Magpie Mover offers a sustainable transport alternative. Using public transport helps to reduce carbon emissions produced on matchdays, while easing congestion around the city centre.

Following the start of long-term restoration work on the Tyne Bridge, fans are being encouraged to make the switch to public transport in a bid to avoid delays and reduce anticipated travel congestion during peak periods including matchdays at St. James' Park.

How to buy?

Supporters purchasing 2024/25 season tickets will have the option to buy a Magpie Mover alongside their ticket when the renewal window opens on Tuesday, 23rd April.

Magpie Mover tickets will remain available to season ticket holders via book.nufc.co.uk throughout the early stages of the campaign.
