Feyenoord star Lutsharel Geertruida would 'love' to follow Arne Slot to Liverpool this summer and the Dutch club are already expecting his departure.
Geertruida has caught the eye for his impressive displays with Feyenoord and his versatility has been key under Slot, featuring at right-back, centre-back and in defensive midfield.
The 23-year-old is out of contract in 2025 and is expected to take the next step in his career this summer, with plenty of clubs likely to show significant interest in the Dutch international.

Geertruida even made a bizarre appearance in the Liverpool away end for the 2-2 draw with West Ham United on Saturday and he could potentially be Slot's first signing for the Reds if recent reports are to be believed.
According to Dutch outlet De Telegraaf, Geertruida is ready to take the next step in his career and Feyenoord are expecting him to leave Rotterdam in the upcoming transfer window.
It's unthinkable that they lose the defender for free in 2025, meaning they simply must cash in on him this summer.
As a result, Liverpool are expected to be one of the many clubs interested in his signature, with Real Madrid and Bayern Munich having also been linked previously.
However, Slot could be hugely influential in Geertruida's next move, with the Feyenoord coach almost certainly taking over from Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool following a £9.4m agreement.
Therefore, according to De Telegraaf, Geertruida 'would love' to join Slot at Liverpool ahead of next season, offering him the chance to represent one of the world's biggest clubs in the Premier League.
It's expected that the seven-cap Netherlands international would set the Reds back around €30m (£25.6m), although that fee may well be negotiable considering his contract situation.
Liverpool have also been linked with Feyenoord centre-back David Hancko, who is an enormous fan of the club, but the 26-year-old is attracting significant interest from Italy as well according to the Dutch outlet.
