Jamie Carragher has predicted that Liverpool will get back to winning ways in the Premier League this Sunday when the Reds travel to Fulham.

After their disappointing Europa League exit on Thursday night, the Reds return to domestic action with a challenging trip to Craven Cottage at the weekend.

Having picked up just a point from their last two league matches, Liverpool now sit third in the table and are looking increasingly unlikely to be crowned champions for the second time under Jurgen Klopp.

The departing German needs his players to make drastic improvements when they travel to west London on Sunday, with former Liverpool defender Carragher predicting a narrow win for the Reds in the capital.

JAMIE CARRAGHER'S FULHAM VS LIVERPOOL PREDICTION

Making his predictions for Sky Sports this week, Carragher has suggested that Liverpool might sneak a win at Craven Cottage to get them back on track.

The 46-year-old has gone for a 2-1 Liverpool victory against Marco Silva's side, stating: "This is another tough game for Liverpool after an away fixture in Atalanta, but I think they will win late with having a strong bench."

With Manchester City involved in FA Cup action - Carragher having predicted a 2-0 win for Pep Guardiola's side in their semi-final with Chelsea - Liverpool have the chance to put a little pressure on the reigning champions.

Arsenal are also in Premier League action as they travel to Wolverhampton Wanderers and a victory at Molineux on Saturday evening would see them go top of the table for the time being.

Carragher has predicted the Gunners to secure all three points in a 1-0 win at Molineux, stating: "Arsenal will get back to being defensively sound and have enough to win the game."
