The first round of voting for your Joie Player of the Season is now open.

Supporters can choose any member of Gareth Taylor’s squad who has made at least five appearances at this stage of the competition.

This section will last until Thursday 2 May, when the three members of the team with the highest voting tally will be placed into a shortlist.

The voting will then start from scratch once again, and you can then decide which player takes home the prize!

So far, Chloe Kelly, Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw, Yui Hasegawa, Khiara Keating and Jess Park have each won Joie Player of the Month awards across the campaign.

Gareth Taylor’s side find ourselves six points clear at the top of the Barclays Women’s Super League with just two matches to play, though Chelsea have two games in hand of their own.

Our 4-0 victory over Bristol City on Sunday evening also saw us equal the longest winning run in the league’s history, as a Mary Fowler brace, Alex Greenwood header and an own goal secured a 14th success in a row.

We also boast the league’s best attack and meanest defence, making it so difficult to choose just one player to vote for!

With a ten-year anniversary since our professional relaunch and an emotional farewell to our legendary captain, Steph Houghton, 2023/24 promises to be one of our most memorable seasons to date.
