Liverpool’s new offer for Arne Slot will be ‘improved by millions’ on their first proposal for the Feyenoord coach.

Despite having no experience managing or playing outside the Netherlands and only one Eredivisie title to his name, Liverpool have decided that Slot is the man to replace Jurgen Klopp.

The Reds are convinced about Slot and have already made an offer of compensation to Feyenoord for him.

It is not enough for the Dutch giants, who are holding out for a fee of €15m to let Slot go.

Liverpool are coming back to the table and, according to Dutch outlet 1908.nl, their new offer will be ‘improved by millions’.

Whether that will allow Feyenoord to achieve their €15m asking price remains to be seen.

Any figure is expected to also cover the backroom staff that Slot wishes to take with him to Anfield.

Slot has already made clear that he wants to make the move to Liverpool and the switch is expected to eventually go through.
