Gary O’Neil has performed above all expectations this season to keep Wolves comfortably clear of trouble, having inherited the side from Julen Lopetegui’s walkout on the eve if the campaign.

Hwang Hee-chan returned to the scoresheet against Luton as the South Korean scored his 11th goal of the Premier League season, level as the club’s leading scorer alongside Matheus Cunha. Each have shown huge improvement in the final third this season, having combined for just five goals in 2022/23.

Set-pieces have been a strength for Wolves this season with only Arsenal, Everton and Manchester City have scored more than their 14 goals from such situations, while only five clubs have conceded less from set-pieces, excluding penalties.

Gary O’Neil will be suspended for the clash after being handed a one-match touchline ban.
