Napoli’s offer to the Canadian international is a salary of €3 million per season with a 5-year contract (until 2029). He is keen on the move but everything will depend on the clubs’ negotiations.

There is a significant gap between the Neapolitans’ offer which is €35 million and Lille’s demand, set at €45 million. Contacts in the next few days will be aimed at finding ways to bridge this €10 million divide and Aurelio De Laurentiis might finance a reliable investment.

Jonathan David is also being pursued by Premier League clubs and Napoli’s league counterparts Milan after his impeccable performances in the Ligue 1.
