We’re into the final few weeks of the season and things are getting incredibly tense across Europe.

Here are the 10 sides we think have done best over the past seven days.

10. PSV Eindhoven (🆕)

PSV are on the verge of securing another Eredivisie title.

The Eindhoven outfit hammered Heerenveen last time out, beating the Frisian side 8-0 to go nine points clear of Feyenoord at the top of the Dutch first division.

It means that Petr Bsoz’s men are just one point away from clinching the league with a game against Sparta Rotterdam this Sunday to look forward to.

9. Sporting (👎 Last week: 8)

It was a weekend of mixed blessings for Sporting.

The Lisbon side stayed top of the Primeira Liga but had their lead cut to four points after securing a 2-2 draw at Porto.

It could have been a whole lot worse for Ruben Amorim’s side though, having gone 2-0 down to the Dragoes in the first half.

A pair of strikes – in the 87th and 88th minute – from Viktor Gyokeres earned Sporting a share of the spoils however with three games left to go.

8. Paris Saint-Germain CP (👎 Last week: 6)

As with Sporting, it’s been an up and down week for Paris Saint-Germain.

The capital club clinched the Ligue 1 title on Sunday despite only drawing with Le Havre.

Monaco’s defeat at Lyon the following day help see Luis Enrique’s men lift the title but the big one came on Wednesday with a trip to Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League semi-final..

PSG were subdued somewhat though as Jadon Sancho and co. beat PSG in a brilliant 1-0 win.

7. Bayern Munich (🆕)

With Bayer Leverkusen’s unlikely rise to the Bundesliga title, it’s naturally been a disappointing domestic campaign for Germany’s grandest club.

In Europe though, the Bavarian giants have been consistently impressive and continued that this week with a 2-2 draw against Real Madrid.

Thomas Tuchel’s side gave Los Blancos the fright of their lives at the start of the first and second halves with Leroy SanĂ© and Harry Kane grabbing the goals.

Arguably no team this season has caused Real Madrid trouble like Bayern did with next week’s second leg in Spain sure to be an absolute classic.

6. Atalanta (👍 Last week: 7)

Atalanta are hitting their stride at just the right point of the season.

La Dea are sixth in Serie A and fighting for a Champions League place, into the Coppa Italia final having decimated Fiorentina int the last four and now ready for their shot at European glory.

Thursday night sees Gian Piero Gasperini’s side take on Marseille with the Italian club looking to make their first ever continental final.

Right now, it would be foolish to bet against them.

5. Inter (👎 Last week: 2)

A victim of circumstance, more than anything, as Inter drop down three places in our rankings.

The Nerazzurri won the league 10 days ago as they beat Milan in a derby for the ages.

And it would have been very easy for Simeone Inzaghi’s side to take their foot off the gas as Torino came to town last weekend.

Instead, Hakan Çalhanoğlu grabbed a double as they beat Ivan Jurić’s side with ease.

4. Bayer Leverkusen (👎 Last week: 3)

Quite remarkably, Bayer Leverkusen were at it again this weekend.

Against Champions League-chasers Stuttgart, the new Bundesliga champions were 2-1 down going into the sixth minute of added time.

But once again, the Werkself showed their mental fortitude with Robert Andrich scoring an equaliser to stretch their unbeaten run to 46 games.

At some point though, surely this run of added time goals is going to come to an end?

3. Manchester City (👍 Last week: 5)

It was almost classic Manchester City at Nottingham Forest this weekend.

Score midway through the first half, soak up some pressure and then find another goal late on to see out the game.

Erling Haaland and goalscorer extraordinaire Joơko Gvardiol were the match winners as City went to within one point of Arsenal at the top of the Premier League – with a game in hand.

2. Arsenal (👍 Last week: 4)

There’s never a bad time to beat your bitter rivals at their own ground.

But last weekend’s 3-2 win at Tottenham came at the perfect moment for Arsenal.

Despite a shaky second half performance, the Gunners ran away with it in the first 45 minutes and maintained their lead at the top of the Premier League as a result.

1. Real Madrid (No change)

Real Madrid weren’t at their vintage best at the Allianz Arena on Tuesday with Jude Bellingham, in particular, struggling.

But Los Blancos, as per usual, found a way to claim a result at Bayern Munich.

Despite being dominated for the opening 15 minutes, with their first shot on target Vinicius Jr made Bayern’s profligacy pay.

And then late in the second half the Brazilian sensation netted from the spot to make it 2-2 going into the second leg.

With an away win at Real Sociedad the previous Friday also putting one hand on the Liga title, Carlo Ancelotti’s side stay top of our rankings.
