Manchester City are not only Premier League’s leaders, but Pep Guardiola’s men are the main stars on the table of both goals and assists this season.
There is a new star sitting top of Premier League’s goalscorers table following the fixtures on Saturday. Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah, who scored a brace against Southampton, has found the net more times than any other player in 2017/18 so far.
With nine goals for Salah, positions two to six are all on the same tally of eight goals each.
And, of course, Manchester City has more men featured than any other club: Sergio Agüero and Gabriel Jesus.
A Liverpool man has scored the most goals, but nothing can stand in the way of the Manchester City squad when it comes to assists. Places one, two and three are all taken by Guardiola’s men and it looks like nobody else from the Top Six stands a real chance.
David Silva has recorded a total of eight assists, followed by team-mate (and absolute machine) Kevin De Bruyne with his six, the same number as Leroy Sané.
Chelsea’s César Azpilicueta and Brighton’s Pascal Groß share places four and five with five assists each so far this season.
