Former Belgian international Radja Nainggolan has signed a deal to join Indonesian side Bhayangkara FC. The midfielder, who previously played for a host of Italian sides such as Roma, as well as an ill fated spell with Antwerp more recently, has been looking for a new club sine leaving Serie B side SPAl in the summer. At the age of 35, it was unlikely that he would find a new club in Europe.

Voetbalkrant is reporting that Nainggolan will also be employed by the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism, where he will be involved in marketing duties. While from the outside this may seem a strange move for the former Serie A man, he does have familial links to the country. His new side Bhayangkara will certainly be hoping that he can be the catalyst to turn their 2023/2024 season around. The side are currently bottom of the Liga 1 Indonesia, with just 10 points from their opening 20 games, leaving them 12 points from safety.
