Former Real Madrid star Sergio Ramos made use of the opportunity to lavish praise on a one-time teammate in Spain’s capital, during Los Blancos’ meeting with Bayern Munich on Tuesday.

Real, of course, marked their return to action late last night.

In the first leg of the club’s Champions League semi-final showdown with the aforementioned Bayern Munich, Carlo Ancelotti’s troops made the trip to the Allianz Arena.

When all was said and done, the spoils were shared in Bavaria, Vinícius Jr. notching both goals for Real en route to a 2-2 stalemate.

And yet, following the full-time whistle in the clash, many of a Blancos persuasion were nevertheless quick to point towards another as the star of the show.

The player in question? Toni Kroos.

German international Kroos enjoyed another trademark display in his home country on Tuesday, laying on the assist for Vinícius’ opener amid a wonderful all-round showing.

And, as alluded to above, joining the chorus of praise for Real’s midfield maestro was none other than club icon Sergio Ramos.

Taking to his official Instagram account during last night’s matchup, Ramos unveiled a photo of Kroos in action at the Allianz Arena, accompanied by the caption:
