Barcelona have confirmed the contract renewal of defender Sergi Roberto.
The 25-year-old has put pen to paper on a new deal until 2022, which has a release clause of €500m.
The Spain international came through the youth ranks at Camp Nou, making his first team debut back in 2010 under Pep Guardiola.
The versatile right-footer has been in and out of the team since, but this term under new boss Ernesto Valverde has come into his own – starting 15 times in La Liga and scoring once.
Sergi joins Gerard Piqué, who also extended his contract at Camp Nou on Thursday.
