Tottenham Hotspur clashed heads with Liverpool at Anfield earlier this evening as they hoped to secure a good result on the road in the Premier League. Andy Robertson doubled Liverpool’s advantage in the 45th minute as Angelos Postecoglu’s men went into the half-time interval 2-0 down on the scoreline.

Cody Gakpo scored the home team’s third goal in the 50th minute before Harvey Elliott scored with a brilliant strike in the 59th minute. Spurs got a goal back thanks to Richarlison’s finish in the 72nd minute before Heung-min Son found the back of the net just five minutes later. The contest ended with Spurs suffering a tough 4-2 loss away from home.

LB: Emerson Royal – 6/10

He did his fair share of defending but struggled to keep Salah quiet.

CM: Yves Bissouma – 6/10

Bissouma failed to impress with his performance in the middle of the park.

CM: Pape Matar Sarr – 5.5/10

He earned possession back twice but lacked quality in the final third.

CM: Rodrigo Bentancur – 6/10

Bentancur failed to protect his backline but made one good run with the ball.

RW: Dejan Kulusevski – 5.5/10

He was quiet for most of his time on the pitch.
