West Ham United’s technical director Tim Steidten has reportedly been banned from the club’s first team dressing room.

The Daily Mail claims the Hammers have decided that Steidten will not be allowed to enter the first team dressing room or their Rush Green training ground.

This comes at a time when manager David Moyes is facing an uncertain future at the London Stadium.

The Scot’s current deal is set to expire at the end of the season but he is not expected to be given a new contract.

The 61-year-old has led the Hammers to Europa Conference League success but many supporters are unhappy with his defensive brand of football.

As Steidten seeks replacements for Moyes, it has been deemed inappropriate for the technical director to be around the players and the staff.

West Ham have recently revived their interest in Julen Lopetegui after learning that AC Milan are having second thoughts about appointing the former Real Madrid boss.

Lopetegui guided Wolverhampton Wanderers to a 13th-place finish in the Premier League after his appointment in November 2022.

He left the club last summer as he was dissatisfied with the club’s financial situation.

The Hammers have also held talks with Ruben Amorim, but he is unlikely to take the job.
