US men's national team head coach Gregg Berhalter named the 25-player squad for the upcoming friendly contest against Slovenia, with Cade Cowell and Aidan Morris headlining the squad.
The Stars and Stripes are set for a friendly affair with Slovenia on January 20 at Toyota Field in Frisco, Texas which will be the Americans' first game of 2024 as they continue preparations for the Copa America this summer.
The location for the tune-up clash is special for Western Conference side FC Dallas, as their own Bernard Kamungo and Nsoki Tafari have earned their first-ever USMNT call-ups following their impressive 2023 seasons.
The roster features MLS players exclusively due to the European season picking up steam, with the likes of Christian Pulisic and Tim Weah in the midst of their first seasons in the Italian Serie A.
The US will look do get back on the winning side of things after they fell to Trinidad and Tobago in their last contest back in November but still sealed qualification to the semifinals of the Concacaf Nations League tournament on aggregate, 4-2.
