An insight into the chances of Real Madrid star Aurélien Tchouaméni featuring in the club’s upcoming Champions League final outing has on Thursday been provided.

The name of midfielder Tchouaméni has of course seen his name take its place front and centre in the headlines in Madrid across the day to date.

This comes after it was revealed that the France international’s somewhat underwhelming performance in Real’s Champions League semi-final 2nd-leg showdown with Bayern Munich on Wednesday came with Tchouaméni having picked up a considerable injury.

The former Monaco man suffered what has been described as a stress fracture in his left foot, culminating in his departure from proceedings midway through the 2nd-half.

Real, as a collective, subsequently managed to get the job done, thanking a brace by way of super-sub Joselu for a turnaround 2-1 victory.

Los Blancos have in turn booked their place in a Champions League finale clash with German heavyweights Borussia Dortmund.

Tchouaméni, though, is now considered a major doubt to feature.

As per a report from The Athletic, the 24-year-old is expected to spend the next three to four weeks on the sidelines, meaning he is viewed as having just a 20% chance of recovering in time to feature at Wembley on June 1st.
