After winning in Nice a few days earlier (1-2), Paris are now unbeaten in their last 24 away games in the top flight, their longest unbeaten run in the 5 major European leagues. It is the longest unbeaten streak in the capital's history, and also the longest in the league's history.

THE GRENATS' BÊTE NOIRE

With this latest 0-2 victory away to Metz, Paris Saint-Germain have now won each of their last 14 Ligue 1 matches against FC Metz. This is the best run of victories against the same opponent in the history of the Rouge et Bleu, on a par with those against Angers, Caen and Nantes (14 each). Moreover, Metz are the team the Parisians have beaten most in their history in the top flight, with a total of 46 wins from 79 matches (15 draws, 18 defeats).

AN ATTACK THAT PERFORMS

Carlos Soler scored the Rouge et Bleu's 15th goal from outside the box in Ligue 1 this season with a sensational long-range strike to open the scoring for Paris. It is the highest total in a single season since Olympique Lyonnais (19) and... Paris Saint-Germain (18), in the 2017-2018 season. Of the 5 major European leagues this season, no team has scored more goals from outside the box than Paris.

By finding the back of the net on two occasions, the capital club ended the 2023-2024 season having scored in 31 of their 34 Ligue 1 matches, more than any other team in the top flight this season.
