Talks advancing with PSG’s priority target Khvicha Kvaratskhelia | OneFootball

Le Parisien are reporting that Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (23) has become Paris Saint-Germain’s priority target. The publication adds that talks between PSG, Napoli and the player are advancing well.

Kylian Mbappé will leave Les Parisiens at the end of the season. It had been thought that PSG would perhaps not sign a replacement on the left wing, put their full faith in Bradley Barcola and instead buy an out-and-out No.9 such as Victor Osimhen. However, this no longer looks to be the case.

Le Parisien understands that PSG will look to sign a left-winger and Kvaratskhelia has emerged as the priority target. Talks between the relevant parties have been ongoing for several weeks and they are advancing positively. Kvaratskhelia is open to a move to the Parc des Princes and talks between the player’s representatives and PSG are particularly positive.

As always, Napoli will hold out for a high fee for Kvaratskhelia, whose contract with the Italian side runs until 2027. However, it is thought that the Georgian international will be available for around €80m. The fact that Napoli have reportedly already started scouring the market for a replacement is an indication that the deal to take Kvaratskhelia to PSG is on the right track.
