The Men in Whites are just awaiting the result of the Barcelona – Girona game, knowing anything other than a Barça win could all but seal the league title.

All of this is largely thanks to a dominating display against Cadiz, with Brahim Diaz, in particular, emerging as the standout performer.

Brahim’s masterclass vs Cadiz

As part of Carlo Ancelotti’s rotation policy ahead of the Bayern Munich game, Brahim Diaz was given a start in the final third, ahead of Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Junior.

The young Moroccan did not disappoint either, notably scoring the all-important opener while assisting Bellingham’s goal that made it 2-0 in the 68th minute.

Apart from his goal and assist, Brahim was a livewire in the final third, offering a bulk of the creativity that came from the Real Madrid frontline.

Bellingham’s message to Brahim

In light of his stellar performance against Cadiz, Brahim received immense praise from his teammate Bellingham.

Shortly after the game, the Englishman posted a photo with Brahim inside the dressing room, with the caption, “What a player.”

Brahim also received support from Real Madrid fans, in the wake of his performance against Cadiz. This display will go a long way in boosting the confidence of the Moroccan international, who will be aiming for a more prominent role at Real Madrid next season.

Brahim, in fact, could feature prominently for Real Madrid in the remaining league matches, as Ancelotti looks to prioritise the UEFA Champions League.
